International sensation Psy’s “Gangnam Style” was included in the latest edition of the “Now That’s What I Call Music” compilation album series. “Now” is an album that compiles Top 40 pop singles of the time into one album.

Since its launch in the UK in 1983, the series has amassed over 100 million album sales worldwide. The 44th volume of the album, released on Nov. 6, features Pink’s “Blow Me (One Last Kiss),” Flo Rida’s “Whistle,” Nicki Minaj’s “Pound the Alarm” and other recent hit songs. “Gangnam Style” became the first Korean-language song and one of the few non-English songs to earn a spot in the series.

Psy, who has already won awards from the American Music Awards and MTV European Music Awards, has been nominated in five categories -- Best Male Artist, Song of the Year, Artist of the Year, Best Music Video and Best Dance Performance -- at the Mnet Asian Music Awards. MAMA is a major music awards show that is held annually by Mnet Media. Psy will also make a trip to Bangkok on Nov. 28 before heading to Hong Kong to attend MAMA, which will be held on the Nov. 30.

Psy was also nominated in the categories of International Revelation of the Year, International Song of the Year and Clip of the Year for French radio channel NRJ’s Music Awards 2013. The awards show will take place at Cannes on Jan. 26, 2013.

Psy has been gaining global attention with “Gangnam Style,” which has over 700 million views and is now the second most-viewed YouTube video of all time after Justin Bieber’s “Baby.”
